About Us
Many Miles 2 Home Rescue is a friendly, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to saving and rehoming dogs, particularly Bully breeds, that are at risk of losing their lives in shelters or being abandoned by their owners. We focus especially on Bully breeds and pregnant dogs because they often rank third on shelter kill lists.
We proudly care for anywhere from 20 to 55 dogs and puppies at a time as we search for their forever homes through our dog rehoming services. Sometimes, we have over four litters with us, and we do our best to support any moms in need. We’re passionate about spaying and neutering all our animals, ensuring this is done before they go to their new families.
While our animals are with us, we work hard to rebuild their trust and confidence in humans by showering them with love and attention. Each dog gets to run twice a day, and some may require extra rehabilitation depending on their past experiences. We also focus on leash training and reducing barking to help prepare these pups for a smooth transition into their new homes.
In addition, we stay connected with our wonderful community of alumni and support new adopters by providing up-to-date vaccines when needed as part of our pet adoption support. Our community comes together to help rehome animals we might not have room for due to capacity limits, and to assist people working through challenging situations with their pets. We’re also proud to donate some of our dog food to The Love Project, helping to feed homeless people’s beloved dogs.
